I like it. I found it kind of boring up until

Inside these structures, SCP-1262 is able to produce many independently functioning organic systems for capturing and converting the ambient environment for terraforming on a planetary scale.

And then my interest was piqued. Good job.

This was where I really got interested too. I like this just enough to upvote, but I'd be more excited if you went into more detail about the adaptations the thing makes. Perhaps as the infestation continues it could diverge more and more from its initial plant-like appearance?

This is really well written and I think has the potential to be a lot more than it is right now. +1

Very detailed, but at the end of the day this is a straight-up plant monster.

Not bad,but "Iceland Incident" seems a bit unclinical. Something like "Incident 1262-A" would be better IMO.

I liked the multitude of precautions taken against it for its containment. It really builds up how important it is to not let it break free under any circumstances.

The cube is to be suspended inside Silo-4 and be filled with argon gas.

I know what you meant, but this technically is saying that the ice cube should be somehow filled with argon.

SCP-1262 also has an innate resistance to most types of radiation, extreme temperatures, and extreme pressures.

But in the very next sentence.

However, extreme temperature (>1,470 degrees Kelvin or <213 degrees Kelvin) seems to be the most effective suppression method.

It's not actually a contradiction, but it seems like one at a glance. "It's fire proof, kill it with fire."

That didn't detract from my enjoyment, you tell a good story here. +1

I thought it was pretty cool until "ALIENS DID IT 1!!11!". That to mr was an incredibly lame cop out. Also I don't think the pictures at the nissan bottom were at all necessary.

Decent idea, until the alien-terraforming conceit. Tone/grammar needs work, pictures at the bottom aren't really needed at all.

Edit: Screw it…never was really in love with these parts anyway. Photos and addendum deleted.
