What is your least favorite type of SCP?

Well, there's a favorite SCP thread running, why not have the opposite? What is your least favorite type of SCP to read and why? This doesn't imply that they're better or worse than others, just talking personal preference here.

For me, it's location based ones. Locations have to have a really strong hook to keep me interested, otherwise it just feels rather bland, like it's just "it's a creepy looking field, but also it's weird!"

That's not to say there aren't location based ones that I enjoy, of course.

Not that I hate these articles which I'm about to mention and if given free rein will fanatically hunt them down with a rubber mallet, but I find that SCP's that are phenomenon or are not exactly clear [but still excellently executed and upvoted properly] I just find no interest in them and no really sense of feel other than other articles.

Biological ones. Specifically, ones where it's a plant or animal or person who just does things a bit differently than expected. There are some exceptions, but usually if it's an otherwise normal plant, animal, or person, my interest decreases significantly. Bacteria, insects, and mythological beings are all ok though.

CRAZY TO DEATH. Some articles pull it off well and are pretty enjoyable, but from those that are quickly downvoted to oblivion, the X object that forces you do Y until you die almost never fail to gain my antipathy.

I'm not particularly fond of portals to other worlds either although, like in the previous "type", there are exceptions, namely 1483 and 093.

Not that I downvote any article that fits said categories the moment I see one, obviously: I just find them a little harder to enjoy than, say, some mysterious\weird object or creature with a intriguing\unsettling backstory, or that hints that it is more than just "something that does anomalous stuff".

Stuff wat is useful and is only interesting when used with other stuff. Pills, the previous version of telekill, infinite pizza, etc.

I understand that the Foundation presumably uses some anomalous objects as tools, and I understand that some anomalous objects will of course be predictable and useful. My problem is that they're not very interesting for me to read.

Also, WACKY cross-testing and references to other articles. No, I don't care that SCP-682 is a badass, if I wanted to read about it I would be reading its entry or a tale.

Mine is that, but with a "super scary" downside that makes you not want to use it. What's the fucking point of it existing if its downside negates its upside completely? Also, its obviously just a way to get past people calling it a "thing what is good" or whatever. I'm honestly fine with stuff that does good things as long as it has varied results.

Humanoids. Specifically, sapient humanoids that are actually humans. Humanoid-shaped automatons and such are usually excluded.

I just think they're all rather dull and over-personified. Plus, their anomalies are usually more like superpowers. I can forgive it more easily when it's an anomaly affecting the human, or it's an uncontrollable anomaly being manifested through the person like an Area of Effect, or something. Idunno, I just don't like 'em.

Smart/talking animals. The only ones I've seen that work well are Blackwood, Timmy, and that flock of birds that work like the Geth.

Humanoids and Random Item Generators. The former is rife with poor submissions and the latter always come across as blatant ripoffs of 261/294/914.

I've pretty much had my fill of incomprehensible-things-from-beyond-reality.
Extra-dimensional whatsits are all fine and dandy, I'm just tired of the "this is so different from what we know that we can't ever understand it" trope. Anymore, I read something like that and I just think that the writer was too lazy to come up with an underpinning system of fridge-logic.

Anything with really convoluted anomalous properties. Sometimes I just sit back and think, how on earth would anyone have ever even discovered this SCP? That's probably also why I tend to enjoy recovery logs.

Not really a type, but ones that drone on and on without ever really saying what the object is or what it does. I find a lot like that, so I just haven't read through many of them due to being like that.

Also, aside from Josie I prefer my Scips pure nightmare fuel, please.
