Hub page for team "I don't wanna die" for the 2018 Doomsday Contest.

Our articles are split into two sections: articles that can be considered to be the 'plot' of ΩK, and articles that explore how the world reacts to it.

Thank you to Aethris for the new artwork!

The image needs to be reformatted. It just does not look good where it is at.

While the comment is appreciated, your criticism is not really very helpful - what exactly is wrong with it, what could be done to make it better by your standards?

The placement of the image above the entire thing looks very strange when it should be placed more with the text on the right than above. It looks like an error in one's Internet connection or programming. The text "Artwork" somewhat overlaps a little on the image which makes it look even further like an error.

I think it is best for it to be beneath the title which many other pages have done. For example, like how the image in the Dread & Circuses hub is placed (also drawn by Zhange).

Honestly, it's too big. It stretches over the left-hand section. You don't really ever see that on this site, and it's really distracting.

It's certainly different than the normal style but I think it helps get the reader's attention well and is generally cool looking. I get where you are coming from, but I can't see any issues with it myself.

Out of all of the entries thus far I really like this one the best-I didn’t realize until now just how terrifying immortality can be, especially with the insect populations growing immensely. *shudder* I can feel them crawling on my back just thinking about it.

Best of luck to you guys, can’t wait to read the full “plot” when it’s complete,

This is the perfect idea for this contest. It relates to everything people have feared at one point in their life, and a thought everyone has had at one point. Death and immortality. +1

if you guys dig the whole "humans delaing with imortality" kinda deal without all the grimdarkness of the Foundation, check out "what will football look like in the future?" by SBNation.
just read a bit and then some HTML screwyness will kick in, the ensuing story is pretty nice.

Upvoted. People hates immortality so hard that Prometheus and MC&D gain money from people that desperately need want to die. I want to hear something from a religion leader regarding this "immortality" event, maybe from Catholic Pope or Islamic Imam. Very interesting.

This is one of the best thing I've read in months on this site. I'm shocked, impressed, and giddy that you made death — in this case 'not-death' — fucking terrifying. I was a little disappointed at the ending (More O5 development and tying up the loose ends would have made this more power) but goddamn, I will not deny this is some fine ass fucking writing.

A solid layout for a hub, but the image placement and how big it is absolutely makes it jarring as fuck. I think repositioning it and resizing it would make it better.
