Here is the first chapter in the Doomsday Contest team with Cyantreuse, Rimple, and LordStonefish.

The image is from page 193 of Rauber's Lehrbuch der Anatomie des Menschen, published in 1904 and now in the public domain.

I really, really like this. The body horror is excellent, if a little too reminiscent of Neal Shusterman's Unwind, and I adore the way you use your 001 to introduce the main narrative thrust of your team's entries.

The text colors aren't quite vibrant enough to be easily distinguishable, but it's still a very cool anomaly with an intriguing backstory. Happily upvoted, can't wait to see what y'all have in store.

This is great. I love the in-document discussion about this anomaly; It's very similar to your 01 proposal in style, which I love as well.

I like this a lot, and the O5 Council discussion is great (though I agree with CWW that the text colours aren't immediately easily distinguishable).
I didn't get body horror from it though - it just seems fun.

That note from R. Argent genuinely had my recoil in my seat the first time I read it. This is some wonderfully creepy stuff and a good hook for an overarching narrative.

I'll admit, it took me until one of the O5s pointed out that there was no memetic effect for this to really stick with me. But the story is told in the little details around the edges, and everything that's left out. It's pretty impressive!

I really love this. The body horror is very effective, if subtle.
I know it's just a new style, and it has its merit, but these huge sprawling meta-super narrative scp's are getting a little repetitive, and it's nice to see short and sweet skips like this are coming back into style.

This is the excellent. Great anomaly that sets the stage for further shenanigans while telling a complete story on its own. +1

I'm guessing LETHE is the tie-in with your doomsday?
