I don't even understand this at all and it makes me happy in a depressing way.
Mr_Wilt was helping me with an image of a pile of tiny red people but in the end I went for a picture of the television itself. But still, thanks for the image help man. And thanks to Mann for feedback as well.
This is implying, to me, that previous site user Mr_Wilt took the image of that is currently used in this article. As it cannot be sourced elsewhere, I am assuming the image is cc-compliant.

That was short and sweet. I like the idea of it being something that one can see the whole time, but may not notice it at first sight.
Although SCP-1970 requires minimal security, it must be isolated from other anomalous objects.
Shouldn't this be basic procedure for any object in containment?
When SCP-1970 was not in operation it was possible to hear movement within the casing, as well as occasional breathing noises, including snoring.
Are these little things really so loud that we can hear them breathing?

Am I right to assume that the small organisms within the set were meant to originally act as a way to show images on a screen rather than using pixels? Anyways, I quite enjoyed it, but I really think the emotional impact is swift, fairly weak, and quickly forgotten about. +1 nonetheless

I like to imagine that some safe or trivial items are just kept in lockers in the same room, or piled up in a warehouse situation. If we classify it as safe and it doesn't need special attention why waste the space and resources?

If they are loud and talented enough to mimic a TV they are loud enough to hear when they're idle too.

This is about the paranoia of a guy no one would believe. He WAS crazy, but there WERE little men in his TV. And no one believed him because his condition was bad enough to keep people from hanging out or paying a lot of attention to his TV set. That's the hidden back story; a lonely, tragically disturbed man. Someone could have noticed and the Foundation could have swooped in right away to contain the set but that wouldn't have the same implications.
