Is my mind playing tricks on me, or was this posted already and then taken down?
It was positively rated and not much has changed. What happened?
Considering that all mentions of the Mexican-US borders have been removed, that the skip has been relocated to Egypt and the fact no nationality/ethnicity is given to the foreigners my guess is that it was deleted and redone to avoid the immigration debate shitstorm which was already stirring up in the discussion thread. (Partly thanks to me, not sure how I feel about that)
Lawyer Anubis. Rad.

The Holy Warrior walked. It had been a long time since he'd walked this far, but he was used to walking nonetheless.
Thoth as a better call Saul style lawyer is just too good a concept.
I really appreciate the rewrite too Niles, you rock!
Anubis
Thoth
You fools, it's Set! Also A.N. I kind of wish I'd come up with a Set SCP first.

Nicely done rewrite. I enjoyed the original but moving the location to Egypt definitely makes more sense for an Egyptian god.

I kind of wish that we didn't need such a abnormal appearance, but upvoted anyway.
I love this SCP, but I'm a little confused on one thing. Is this Anubis, Set, or Osiris?
I like the lawyer aspect, but the over-the-top uncontainable nonsense killed it for me. This needs to show that it's an ancient god, and it needs a rationale for why it's still active in [redacted]. Making it super-keter uncatchable is the laziest and most boring way to achieve this.
Besides, the Foundation has plenty of options for containing this even if they can't capture it. Keeping foreigners away is an obvious first step, and subverting the local police and judiciary is a close second.
Here's the thing. The Foundation people are smart cookies. They know this is a god. This god is willing to cooperate so that the foundation has the minimal resources possible needed to contain this. He's not going anywhere, and if he was it would be a different story. This is a skip where the foundation's most straightforward way of containment is acting as a cleanup crew, which they do in plenty of other skips as well - erase the results of what happens to the people affected by the anomaly, and that's all!
however, I think I will put in a thing about a media campaign to reduce tourism in the area, thanks for the suggestion!
