As I continue to fail to fall asleep the night before a final, I happen to come across both the most cozy and metal SCP I’ve read. And the only thing I can think is “fuck I could use this right now”

+1 for making me want to go back to sleep. But like, because you’ve made it sound nice. I realize it sounds weird but I swear it’s a compliment.

In terms of style this one is definitely "you" while also clearly "not-you", which makes for a delicious snack. Great work as usual, CC.

This is a delightfully weird combination. Like Weryllium said, this is so on-brand and off-brand of the usual CadaverCommander skip, and I think the contrasts are what makes it so enjoyable.

A solid read. Makes me think of the biker gangs that look out for abused children and walk with them to keep them safe (BACA, I believe?).

They're super awesome. Always makes me happy to read stories about super tough biker peoples giving a kid a blanket and standing watch over a house so the kid can sleep peacefully. There's hope in the world.

I like the lack of notes concerning what happens if the child is woken up after the skeleton kisses them good night.

Meta-analysis of articles ruined this a little to be honest; the fact that this was in the positives made the ending pretty obvious because if it was anything else it would have been downvoted into oblivion, heh.

I like it, but it feels a bit bare bones, no pun intended. I would have liked to know, how the Foundation found this SCP in the first place. A little backstory to flesh it out, like reports of a fiery spectre in a children's hospital, that scared away nurses and janitors, for peeping on the kids? I mean other than that, this one is a really nice idea.

I personally feel the exact opposite, I think that would totally ruin it. This SCP is short and sweet on purpose, and all the better for it. Adding in unnecessary extra logs would detract from the simplicity of a BACA skeleton tucking kids in to bed.

It's not just that, it's the fact that this is perfect as it is.

This has exactly what it needs. It establishes the premise then delivers a punchline. Adding more just weighs it down with unnecessary details.

And even then, this has one of my favorite things in an article: a hint of a story. It's (imo) one the perfect examples of a series I-esque article done right. It gives you something to work with, leaves the surrounding details up to you. It's a little view into the weird, anomalous world the Foundation operates in.

(To cadavarcommander: all my +1, an excellent job once again.)

I get that it's short n sweet, I prefer longer SCP articles and I know that's just my personal preference. I don't think it's asking for much, I just get curious about where the Foundation finds these anomalous items. ^^
