Question, though. Is there a reason that it's in the Euclid wing as a Safe object? And couldn't you just put curtains or something around the skip instead of making everyone entering its chamber wear goggles?
Technically, an amnesiac is one who suffers from memory loss while an amnestic is something that causes it.
There's been a fairly recent effort to switch to the more correct term.
I love it. It just gets you. The only thing is what about the item he claimed to have used? I figure that would be something the foundation would look for and after it's mentioned in the letter, it's forgotten.

If a pubescent human subject
Jess is 8, and Liz just turned 4.
When I showed Liz and Jess the thing…they just asked where their dad was.
I'm really confused. These kids are nowhere near pubescent, so why didn't they recognize that the "emergency worker" dropping off this bizarre simulacrum was their father?
Also, I'm pretty sure this isn't "telekinetic".
I like that this was created and more or less has the effect it was intended to have, if a bit overboard. However, I don't think it's really all that interesting. It's "Luke, I am your father" in SCP form, to put it cynically.
