Oh man, I had a ton of fun with this one. Bardeen did an amazing job with the imagery in the description, and all the little details that made for this being a really heartwarming article full of little easter eggs/fridge logic "daaws". I basically just filled in the gaps with the containment and addenda here.
All names were created by Bardeen. I think Dr. Hunter Miles is a cool dude. Here's a quote from chat from Bardeen describing the doctor:
I imagine Hunter Miles is some eccentric weird dude who got an obscure high-level degree in Cryptozoology and then just got hired by the foundation like a stuntman
"Mr. Miles, where do you see yourself in 10 years"
"Dead, but happy!"
"You're hired, welcome to the Foundation."
I wrote most of my portion while listening to an orchestral version of an Undertale soundrack medley, and in between reading a fanfiction involving a shark-merman twist on the traditional selkie/mermaid tales. I think that's impacted this light, fairytale-like mood for an entity that's thousands of years old, and is basically a chill old god hanging out in the swamps with its little mushroom servants. It likes and looks out for humans because it sees them as kindred spirits.

I dig it. Cute helper skip that is alien enough that it doesn't stray too close to Bes in terms of content.

Two things.
- I'm a sucker for cute, happy and wholesome skips and this one got progressively cuter, happier and wholesomer(spellcheck says this isn't a word but I'm using it anyway).

I appreciate the credit, but Zyn really made these little guys pop, they were a bit creepy in the original idea, but I was grateful when Zyn decided to flip that to adorablebois
