Apparently coffee made from 914'd beans is shock sensitive!
It was kinda jarring to read with the weird line jumping thing so I fixed it.
It's the next in the Idle Hands series, yes.
The premise is simple, "The Devil makes work for idle hands".
The scariest phrase in the world in his department is "I'm bored".
You sir have a really bad coffee addiction.
And I can't help but think that all this is, is a glorified 914 experiment. I can't bring myself to like it when you're just riding coattails around here.
The page quote is from the webcomic Schlock Mercenary, in which it is excerpted from the in-universe book The Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries. And Now You Know.
The saying (or something similar to it) has been around a while. I knew it as a TShirt with the back printed "EXPLOSIVE ORDINANCE DISPOSAL - IF YOU SEE ME RUNNING TRY TO KEEP UP"
I thought this was going to be something like this. Glad to be wrong.
So serious but so not. I liked it +1.
If you see me running, stay right were you are. The zombies will get you first.
Glorious 914 experiment. I didn't know if I wanted to upvote, but it's written so well and so compellingly for a tale that I decided that yes, I had to upvote.
I love me some coffee
At first when he said beans my mind went to baked beans, but seeing that it's for coffee makes more sense. All in all, I really liked this tale! It's not a slog of words like 1730, but it's not so short that it's basically a paragraph. Not one for coffee, I'll stick with my energy drinks thank you.
