I like SCPs that show the Foundation to be…not evil, in a grimdark sense, but just reactionary. As they would be. +1
A rewrite of the now-deleted SCP-1139 candidate, 'Weight Gain Manna' by Abodos, which got purged for creepy stuff related to fat fetishism. Abodos then gave me permission to re-write it, and this is what me and VAElynx came up with. Also credit to Smapti for SCP-1176, which inspired some parts of this article.
I feel like the "exposure to light in excess of 10,000 lux" was unnecessary, but other than that it was quite compelling. +1.
I kinda like the idea of a GOI that actually wants to try and find humanitarian applications for SCPs.
I think my favorite part is the third addendum. It sorta makes it hit home that these people, though well intentioned, are messing with stuff, and perhaps even more importantly, groups that they don't really understand, but they are learning. And they're realizing the lengths the Foundation will go to keep everything normal.
Nice concept, good execution, and a well-done link to a GoI. +1
I'm iffy on a fungus causing the generation of chloroplasts and on the use of the Ethics Committee, but it was a good read nonetheless, so +1.
