Finally finished! Special thank you to the users who collaborated on this via submitted postings both recently AND way back when I put the call out for submissions for a FAM Radio segment.
This collab is directly inspired by the Wanderer's Library Missed Connections by
Bouncl and the real-life missed connections page on craigslist.
"A missed connection is a type of personal advertisement which arises after two people meet but are too shy or otherwise unable to exchange contact details. The Missed Connections section of Craigslist gets thousands of ads of this type every month for cities such as New York and San Francisco." - From Wikipedia
- Postings here are made by personnel hoping to connect with someone. They might have been two strangers who bumped into each other in a busy hallway, or someone who they connected with but lost touch, or someone they were too nervous to talk to at a holiday party. Entries can be of a friendly nature or a romantic intent.
- It might be a long shot, but the hope of the entries is that it reaches the intended person and a connection is rekindled. The idea here is that the Foundation has its own internal website for these kinds of postings in order to help manage and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships. People need friends and desire deeper connections.
Tried to recreate the look and feel here on the wiki. If you're viewing on mobile, it likely looks messed up, BUT THEMS THE BRAKES I GUESS! All spelling/grammar errors have been left in as submitted. Felt it gave each a little more authentic voice and feel.
Those Interested In Contributing Please Read This:
Real life Missed Connections tend to get a little… messy as it is. In the spirit of keeping things on brand and the quality from spiraling unchecked, I've taken a few preventative measures.
- This is an open collab tale, but staff has been asked to keep it locked!
- New postings must be commented in the discussion and await consideration.
- Every so often I will check in and either give feedback or approve new posting submissions. This will not be a daily or weekly thing and submissions will likely be added in bulk every few months as needed.
- Staff Please Note: If it's been a few months (5+ or so?) since new entries have been commented but not updated to the tale, and/or I've been absent from the site for a very long time, I approve staff updating and editing the tale as they see fit.
- I'm being a hardass upfront because I don't want to see this collab tale descend into the issues other collab tales have had recently. Beyond that, I'm very excited to see what others contribute to this tale as I feel it offers a very modern and personal view into the lives of personnel.

Humorous postings (straight up jokes or by SCPs) have been cut from this collab tale. There was one posting from the original call for submissions that fit this. This tale ended but being more or less serious and focused on Foundation personnel. Potentially a humorous page (Missed Connections-J?) could branch off as a standalone tale linked to this one if enough interest is there.
In order to submit a posting of your own, please copy the template below and fill it in with your submission in a comment below. (don't reply to this post, just add a new post) Please check back for any feedback and wait for the next tale update.
More Notes For Submissions:
- These missed connections are fictional and no one should be replying to user submitted postings. Please keep RP to RP chats/pages.
- While the aim is to keep the tone more realistic over pure lolfoundation, there's still room for jokes/humor.
- I went back and forth on keeping the "gender4gender" for listings. Ultimately I feel they are not necessary but I understand it can add to a posting. Please use respectfully and only if you feel it's important to your posting. m = Male, f = Female, and nb = Nonbinary are the three common ones.
- (Site-#) can be included in posting titles though is not necessary. I've added it to postings that mention a site location.
- Real life missed connections range from the poetic and platonic to the romantic and very sexual. This collab tale is only for platonic and romantic postings, or more specifically, no adult content postings will be accepted here.
- Missed connections are for people who wish to connect with someone they otherwise cannot reach. Maybe they were too shy to ask the person for a phone number, maybe they only saw them in passing, maybe the person transferred sites abruptly, maybe they've never actually seen each other but share a similar interest!
- These can be about a specific person or a total shot in the dark. Longtime friends or lovers who drifted apart or complete strangers!
- These can be light and whimsical or dark and troubling.
- Missed connection posts are supposed to be anonymous, with a way to email the original poster discretely. All personal information such as phone numbers will be █████ed out. Sites and SCP numbers will be left in.
Anyways, thank you to everyone who helped contribute and those just checking the page out! I hope to see some new submissions be added to the page as time goes on! I hope I don't regret fathering another collab tale! These are always a bit tricky.
