I MADE ART

This is my second Wilson's Wildlife Solutions SCP! Not much to say about this one, other than I made it and then posted it in under a day. Hopefully that doesn't show too much. I like this one though. I don't expect amazing ratings from it, but a short piece exploring inter-GoI politics was a fun one to write, and I hope that accomplishing this in a concise manner worked.

Here's to the third Wilson's Wildlife article, with a total of two authors. The others, for those wondering, are as of the time of writing: SCP-3466 and SCP-3153. Happy camping!

I know of a couple people with WWS articles in the works, which would definitely put it over the 5 articles and 3 authors required, so yes. New GoI in the future

Unless I'm missing something, the memetic suppression pops up without warning and promptly disappears forever, like it's just shoved in to qualify it as a thaumiel.

That’s the point. It was fabricated so that Ellars would maintain containment of the turtles instead of it being handed to Wilson’s Wildlife Solutions. It’s the final straw, as it’s so clearly him bending the rules for himself.

I hadn't noticed the creation and spread of Wilson's Wildlife, but it's really intriguing. You're redefining what a GoI can be. As far as I can tell, they're not necessarily anomalous in an of themselves, but they work closely with the Foundation, that's their whole purpose, and I don't think I've seen that before. I like it.

Granted, before I started checking the crosslinks, part of me was happy that there was this GoI out there who just wanted to have some turtles. Like, c'mon guys, just let 'em have the happy turtles, it's okay! Still, the story here is fun, mostly because of how petty the conflict is.

I'm totally headcanoning Tim Wilson as having a collection cat-themed sweaters and a shopping list that includes "more carrots for the unicorns".

He's also given bellyrubs to multiple anomalies classified as "hostile".

I assume that Wilson referring to the Foundation as "you guys" multiple times is a product of his dalliances in amateur pharmacology in the '60s.

I love this, it's like a bright, happy, biological counterpart to AR. Keep Oregon anomalous!

You're really going full force integrating WWS into Site-64 and I find that to be great.

I like the inclusion of MC&D here, as I can think of many of their customers who would want a pet turtle like this to help them just, you know, chill out.

Also, nice AR nod.

Nice article, I'm getting quite fond of Wilson's Wildlife. One nitpick: the line "Special Containment Procedures Foundation" seems really weird to me. Does the SCP in SCP Foundation really stand for that?

Well, what else would it stand for? "Secure, Contain, Protect" is an unofficial motto, and every contained SCP is named so because it has Special Containment Procedures. Everyone thinks that it sounds weird… which was why I included it in the article. I don't think I've seen it written out anywhere else, and it feels weird, but it is inarguably what it has to stand for. I literally just put it in because I felt like it, despite it feeling weird to read, for this reason.

It's actually spelled out in Clef's series "Sequence" IIRC in the one called "Assessment"
