I already wrote a code for best SCPs and Tales of the past month…. months ago. It's on my author page.
Thought I had seen one before. Still like the idea of it, helps me find missed gems every so often.
I feel like this doesn't work as well though; it's more like data for a histogram than pointing out what you've missed. If you were gone the last week of June and the first week of July, the June week would be impossible to find here. I personally find it a lot easier to just say "past two weeks."
Also, this one isn't automatic.
Well I've been waiting for a feature like this for a long time! Hurray!
And lets not nitpick here. Yeah, a database design which would allow us to find articles posted between certain designated periods of time would be great but that's unfortunately not how a Wiki works. I for one, am really grateful for a feature like this. So props to whomever came up with this.
This is extremely valuable. The Top 200 page was useful to me for a while, but then when I ran out of that it was hunt and peck. This thing helps me find the gold that is just below the top 200 list, and/or things that reached the top 200 since the last time I went through it.
Agreed on needing to ask before making a new gadget; however, I have no objection to this, and it's neat. It could be interesting to have each SCP also list what date it was posted.
