I liked the concept and most of how it was carried, but I actually have issues with the containment procedures.
Though the Rio da Dúvida trip is still pretty wild to this day, the amazonian rainforest isn't so devoid of urban life. The area shown in the map have a number of cities, some of those of pretty reasonable size, like Manaus, and certainly have phone signal. Also, a good piece of the river area is actually Cerrado, a Savana-like vegetation and climate.
As funny as it is to see a skip that induces ignorant delusions to the affected people, it isn't acceptable for the Foundation itself to be equally oblivious and racist.
