Why did Nimrod wait nine years to start his vengeance? My guesses:
1) It took him that long to plan his vengeance.
2) He was imprisoned or otherwise incapacitated until sometime around 1949. Given the figure's Near Eastern origins, I'm wondering if the founding of Israel had something to do with this.
Upvoted, BTW. +1
EDIT: On second thought, maybe it took that long for "Nimrod" to catch on as an insult before it got revenge-inducingly annoying. Also, from a Doylian perspective, Leon Schlesinger was (probably) the first person associated with A Wild Hare to die, so this isn't a criticism.
