I'm saving this space to say more for later, but here's my contest entry. I've had this idea bopping in my head for a while, and this drove me to write.
I'm glad I pushed you to write this. It turned out even more charming than I'd expected. Easy +1.

Now that the first day of the contest is over, I feel firmly confident in saying that, yes, this SCP is one hundred percent based on Columbo.
As much as I really want to like Anomalous Columbo, the writing here feels rather clunky to me, and at the end of the day, this is pretty much just Anomalous Columbo with no substantial twists to the idea.
Alright, so this dragged pretty heavy for me right up until the last bit of the transcript, during which point the article itself just kind of clicked together. The mention of Nemesis, and the idea of humans potentially willing this being into existence (unless your Anomalous Columbo is supposed to BE NEMESIS) to make sure justice is done is a thing I can get behind.
+1 kinch
haha. not even halfway through the interview, at the detective's second mention of his wife, I yelled "IT'S COLUMBO!"
being raised my by grandma, who was hooked on that show, I've watched every episode at least twice.
glad to see I was proven right. I'm upvoting on that basis alone.
This is an excellent Columbo fanfic. +1

Ah damn, this is a charming fella. Gotta admit I'm not too familiar with Columbo. Was more of a Kojak guy. Regardless, this is just a really fun article. I love the style it has. The dialogue does resemble that 70s crime drama stuff, and the idea behind the skip itself is good. I like it.
