This is just my personal musing. Mackenzie's the one who made this guy up, so she's the final authority, ultimately.
it's just that I've read quite a bit of rationalizing about temporal quirks.
Being able to manipulate time on a micro-scale is something (we can already do it)
Macro-scale is considered to be impossible (or, rather, unfeasible)
The work-around is for the observer to step out of time.
SCP and all, i know. It is, otherwise, a well done tale.
The whole "Stop all time in the rest of the universe" and "step out of time/speed my time up immeasurably" is kind of a moot point to the observer, in whose perspective this story is written.
The REAL problem comes with the fact that, logically, if you were to "stop time" on a single object, within a very small fraction of a second it would be *very* far away.
I like it, but it needs some copy editing. Most notably: "The police arrived before I could grabbed enough money, and I could only stopped their bullets this time, but I at least got away fine."
