It's a neat idea, to be sure, but there are several spelling issues (such as "foundation personal" instead of "Foundation personnel") that keep me from upvoting. In addition, the first paragraph of the description is very wonky to read; 'resembling a 21st century crime novel" tells me, essentially, nothing. Maybe "written in the style of a contemporary crime novel" would work better?

E: also you refer to a doctor as a D-class in the third test. Is that intentional? reading comprehension: I no has.

No-vote, but if these issues are resolved, I can give it an upvote.

Well that's embarrassing. It seems it doesn't matter how many times I read over the work or get others to read over it there is still dumb mistakes that leak through… I had three people read over the article and not a single one saw that.

In regards to the D Class comment. The Experiment was supposed to be the D class but due to a break in the protective layering the Dr. came into contact with 3345 not the D class.

Please do make as many criticisms as you can. If this gets down voted into oblivion it will just encourage me to try again and harder.

Hell, about two years and 150+ upvotes later, someone pointed out on my SCP that I was using occulting when I meant occluding.

Dude… I wrote a 5,000 Word thesis in University about witches and it wasn't until the last day I realised I had spelt witches wrong in the title… And I was supposed to be an expert on it.

Anyway! I would like to thank kemoT01 for helping me develop this idea and having the most impact in terms of editing over my work.

please also ignore all 20 of my edits. XD Most of them are just me editing none mistakes to just sound better. I need to learn to leave my stuff alone when it is finished.

Your only crime is negligence against grammar and for that there is only one justice…
In one of the last logs you switched some words around. “respond the to agent.” Perhaps should be “respond to the agent.”

Yeah, way too many grammar mistakes got through some how. I think there were too many editors… I had a lot of editors editing words and grammar so maybe they stumbled over each other. In the future I will not let more than 2 people go over the grammar.

Dr. ██████: That was [REDACTED] years ago? How am I supp- Wait… That’s the night my husband went missing! Is this a tactic we use now? Bring up a missing spouse to incite emotional distress? Tell me why I have been contained!

I'm currently working on a few other SCP's (this was my first real SCP) and will be putting them up for editing eventually. However, I have considered the idea of more work on 3345 eventually when my skills improve. Even theorised that there may be a few more anomalies at the book store where it was found. Maybe a few more book SCP's (I like this idea but don't want to over do it as it's nit exsactly an idea that's never been done before).

Apologies for spelling, I'm currently on my phone adventuring in a country where I haven't spoken English to anyone in weeks. XD

I'm surprised that they don't seem to consider the possibility that the subject did in fact commit the crime and then used amnestics to erase the memory of doing it.

I'm sorry if it didn't come across in the writing but they are only theorising that she didn't do it and think she probably did (the amount of evidence is overwhelming but also a little too much "an orgy of evidence") and that's why she is still being held and probably terminated eventually. I suppose they might consider amnestics but, in all honesty, I didn't think about that at the time of writing this. XD good theory though!

This book CREATES crimes (snd evidence) if read by innocent people? No wonder there's a do-not-read warning; I pity that non-violent doctor getting turned into a murderer.

This skip reads ok up until the middle and then becomes terribly clunky. It beats you over the head with its "twist" and is hamfisted as all hell. I would suggest a rewrite that's a bit more subtle and less jarring.

If 'Subject' was working for the Foundation at the time, all they'd have to do is 'accidentally' see or read the wrong thing and have to be amnesticized, conveniently also removing information about their crime. If the Foundation uncovered that they had been dosed at the appropriate time, that certainly would make the investigators suspicious about the claims to innocence.

If not, well, humans are really good at rewriting their memories, even for something as drastic as this. It's truly frightening what someone with narcissistic or antisocial psychopathic traits can convince themselves is 'real'.
