What happens if you're in a car when you use it?

Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
Does this only apply to vehicles or will it affect aircraft, trains, off-road utility vehicles, motorcycles, boats, etc? Also will it affect AC cars or miniatures?
It affects all sorts of planes, trains, and automobiles. And other stuff.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
If they can get the sub in a position where it would be affected it would.

It turns them into… karkats!

Living the dream, or dreaming the life?
I really don't know what to think of this one.
Piffy is an SCP Foundation Moderator, Lv. 9001 Squishy Wizard, and Knight of the Red Pen.
This is terrible and you should feel terrible.
+1
This locker is to be checked once a day for signs of tampering.
There doesn't seem to be anything about the SCP that would require this sort of checking.
The light produced by SCP-1872 is approximately 650 nm, despite this SCP-1872 appears to have a range of at least 1.5 kilometers.
Wait, so red light at that wavelength shouldn't be capable of travelling that far?
No personnel are to be present inside of these vehicles during testing.
If SCP-1872's light is directed within 1.5 meters any vehicle with a person inside of it,
Should the containment say something like "Only D-class personnel are to be present inside …"?
If the light produced by SCP-1872 is still, vehicles will circle it until it begins to move again.
What if the light is projected directly onto a vehicle?
SCP-1872 appears to affect any vehicle that a person is capable of operating, and has been found to be able to affect a variety of vehicles, including (but not limited to) vehicles such as automobiles, bicycles, skateboards, construction equipment, aircrafts, and aquatic vessels.
With things like bicycles and skateboards, does the vehicle move itself, or is the body of the person on it taken over in order to power the vehicle? If they move by themselves, then why do vehicles like cars stop moving when they run out of fuel?
and 2 trains.
Does the SCP cause the trains to jump off the tracks and move without the use of tracks, or does the train stay on the tracks and stop moving when it gets as close as possible to the light?
However, if the user deactivates SCP-1872 before the vehicles that have been affected by it are incapacitated, they will begin to pursue the user until SCP-1872 is reactivated.
What if the user points the SCP up into the sky? Does that count as deactivation?
