So, I now have an author page. Don't be afraid to tell me if it's dumb.
Credit for the Deadly Moose SCP goes to Salman Corbette, who has been linking people to it in his sandbox for long enough that I'm pretty much obligated to include it now.

Fun fact: The researcher that was originally quoted was James. Moose must have changed it when I wasn't looking.
So you're the dude what wrote 1000?
Good work there. :D
You had me at "smiling at the death of a newborn kitten".

Credit for that also goes to Salmander. (As does the first picture, the grinning one.)
this is hilarious and I was very entertained but lolauthor pages are a bad thing. :[
I still remember the days of tangerine vampires and plushies. Where are those pages now you ask? Exactly.

man, I know, but at least I didn't attach any lol stuff to the actual author avatars! I wonder if I should cut down on the jokey stuff in the [processing] dialogue boxes. (Salmander's joke moose SCP is probably staying, though.)

w… what >_>
I went ahead and cut the jokey stuff out of the [processing] dialogue boxes to make the whole thing less lolfoundation-y. Leaving the joke SCP in there though.
If you preferred it the way it was before, speak now or forever hold your peace
I liked it the way it was before, but it's your thing, do what you want to do.
But seriously, I can't help but feel serious author pages are located somewhere between self insert and RP countries. Both of those are kind of meh. (Let me clarify, neither of those apply to your page moose.)
If an author page is not going to be entertaining to read, then why have anything beyond simply having an article index?
The image you've linked to scares and confuses me. I'm not sure what you're meaning with it.
I'm having a hard time coming up with anything that would be serious, entertaining, and not wasted on an author page due to a better place for it existing elsewhere.
Perhaps author commentary on pieces done, if only because putting that into the discussion thread about the entry would see that potentially lost and buried.
