I remember this one. Now that I've been rested, I like it. Upboat.
Living the dream, or dreaming the life?

Thanks for much help from chat. Not sure if I should list "paradox" as a tag.
I don't immediately recall who helped me with the title but the allusion was not intentional.
Interesting, if a tad confusing. Nevertheless, I liked it enough to upvote.
I really like it, but is the idea here that the sound ends up creating sentient entities, or a divergent semi-real copy, or what?
I'm having a hard time with this one, particularly with the physics of what takes place, and of course with the general concept.
SCp[sic]-1813 is not louder than a mundane manatee, but sound emitted appears to 'bounce' off itself, increasing in volume exponentially before abruptly fading.
Please explain this to me, as I'm not sure if this is bad physics or an anomalous effect of the item.
It might be bad physics, that or the sound colliding with sound from another timeline.
So yeah, bad physics. I'm not sure I can actually explain it.
…
:)?
The test log is very confusing. I can't figure out what's going on at the end, when D-4293's lines are mixed up with something called D-4293-C. Who or what is -C? Another duplicate? Why a letter instead of number? What does "Speech originating from the current time" mean? Why does the real D seem to be answering things Dr Sanders never said?
the tank volume is a bit bizarre. i get that it's 50,000 gallons, but just round it up to 200,000 liters.
D-4293-1: Alright Flanders blow to Hell.
D-4293-2: I did it to Hell fuck I did the blow.
…i upvoted for this. also, the bit about the distress continuing after he died.
I like things from Florida. Also this is a good SCP. Upvotes for everyone.
Whether you like it or not, history is on our side. We will bury you!
Xanth is the unofficial code name for Extradimensional Storage Facility [REDACTED] which breached containment about two thousand years in the future, now correlating with roughly five thousand years in the past. It created a complete copy of Florida, but it is now overrun with anomalous items and beings of a near-infinite variety, most of which take the forms of puns or lame "magical" items.
