Foundation Technology

We all know that the Foundation would develop technology to combat anomalies and I wonder what the community has thought of. This is a few that I am aware of:

• Scranton Reality Anchors (SRAs): The most well known piece of Foundation equipment used in a few articles and designed for the containment of mostly reality benders as far as I know. It is supposed to stabilize reality and effectiveness varies depending on the article.
• High Intensity Discharge Turret (HID Turret): An off site concept that is featured in Containment Breach. It is made to contained SCP-106 by firing concentrated rays of light at it since it has an aversion to light, and cause it to retreat into its pocket dimension.
• HID Prototype Handheld Firearm: An off site concept from SCP Secret Laboratory that is just an HID Turret one can hold and is pretty much the same. It is rare and fires only once which is all due to how early in development the weapon is.
• Tesla Gates/Tesla Coil Hallways: Another off site concept that is featured in Containment Breach that is designed to prevent access to areas by producing high amounts of electricity.
• Project SCRAMBLE: A pair of modified goggles designed to censor the likeness of SCP-096 before the light reaches the eye which is done via a microprocessor that is always scanning. It is also a program that can be uploaded in camera systems. Unfortunately, it was ineffective.
• Non-Physical Displacement Neutralizers (nPDN): Devices that anchors incorporeal entities into a physical form. It was used on SCP-2996, a ghost girl.
• Artificially Intelligent Conscripts (AICs): AI units designed by the Artificial intelligence Application Division (AIAD) of the IT Department of the Foundation. Are used to aid development of artificial consciousness and develop methods to defend against hostile AI. Some make up MTF Kappa-10 "Skynet" which deal in finding anomalous threats online.
• MTF Fusion Rifle and Pistol: Off site concepts featured in SCP Secret Laboratory. Uncommon weapons assigned only for effective recontainment.
• Positronic Grenade: Also an off site concept from SCP Secret Laboratory and is standard issue anti-SCP/Personnel grenade for MTF to disperse hostiles. Kinda like an EMP.

That is all I know so far. Are there any other concepts I am missing that the community has created? I feel like I am missing a few and would love to know.

Xyank-Anastakos Temporal Sink: It's featured in SCP-2000—heck the entire 2000 is Foundation tech dump, and another SCP concerning interstellar travel that I forgot the number. Basically it's a time manipulation device designed to emulate or neutralize the relativistic temporal dilation or what not.

There are also some interesting tech involved in many tales and series that I can't recall from the top of my head, including large-scale memory-wiper-bomb and conceptual/meme/thingamajig manipulations techs featured in Antimemetics Division Series. Worth checking out, worth looking around Resurrection and Thaumiel or Olympia projects.

I might recall a power suit of sorts from Resurrection. I will look into it and update the list with what I find. Also, I was pretty much was gonna say straight up SCP-2000 due to the complex nature of it and it's purpose.

If you go looking into Olympia project (if I remember the name correctly) there's some interesting hints on the power suits and/or Adams. It's the kind of thing that makes you think about all possible implications and not only fixated at the answer given by the tales itself.

Tilda/Cimmerian Reality Vacuum Attachments (TCRVAs): Doesn't really play that big of a role, but it was stated to be used in the SCP-682 termination log by SCP-2305. It is capable of creating anomalous sections of space in any shape, which prevents all matter from passing through that space.

It's used to basically create a large invisible dome around the moon, which prevents debris from flying everywhere and hitting Earth and destroying it. It's not perfect though, and a few meteorites can slip through the cracks.

Sounds handy for a few things though it is quite unfortunate that it's flawed. Heck, I feel the Chaos Insurgency would love their hands on it for defensive purposes.

CK-Class Scenario Detectors (CSDs) - It's a large bunch of detectors, computers and other shit stapled together, synced with others, and dropped in multiple places to set off alarms if any reality altering goes off. Currently only used in my SCP-3557 (in which they fail horribly).

It's interesting that a significant portion of the mentioned technology in the OP are off-site content. And even stuff like SRAs still have a reputation that some users deem to be negative.

Perhaps some users prefer a low-tech Foundation, while others prefer a high-tech Foundation.

It's not that people are against high-tech it seems, more like how it's implemented. SRAs seem to be looked down upon for how over used they are and most of the time not being that effective anyway. Also, some prefer that some tech doesn't make the Foundation too OP and be reasonably flawed to an extent.

It didn't give a name because it was basically standard-issue stuff. In-universe, it's probably something really boring like "Standard Auditory-Anomaly Headset" or the like. :P

Oh, given how canons vary between authors/articles and how many one-offs there are, there's tons and tons. Off the top of my head:

+ show block

There's the "mundane" ones that are still nothing like reality:

• Amnestics A variety of drugs which erase and possibly even rewrite memories.
• Mnestics A variety of drugs which make forgetting impossible.
• Memetic Science Capable of producing cognitohazards with varying effects up to instant death (e.g., the BERRYMAN-LANGFORD MEMETIC KILL AGENT), as well as creating Memetic Innoculations or Countermemes capable of stopping these.

Human-scale stuff:

• Kant Counters Which use a miniaturized SRA to detect fluctuations in local reality in units of Humes. and attract downvotes
• MTF Tau-5 "Samsara" From MTF Hub: "Immortal cyborg clones created from the flesh of a dead god, Tau-5 utilizes esoteric and experimental Foundation weaponry to investigate and contain thaumaturgic, magical, and psionic threats." See Operation AZURE PEREGRINE for a laundry list of their paratechnology loadout for one mission.
• See also Operators in the excellent SCP-2904.
• Sub-Phase Inter-Dimensional Energy Resonator Human-portable device which generates a trans-dimensional rift, allowing for interdimensional travel.
• Portable Spatial Containment Device A small sphere which uses spatial manipulation to envelop and contain several cubic meters of space. Effective except it looks like a children's cartoon and the contents don't survive in one piece. Invented in Walk the Floor, used in a tale in the Black Autumn series.

Bigger stuff:

• L-Cannons Ship-scale weaponry that fire nonlethal anomalous lightning. Mentioned here, actually used in SCP-3700
• Peregrine Expeditions/Spacecraft The XACT-based FTL spacecraft Rigen mentioned, used in SCP-3200 and SCP-3029
• Multi-Universal Transit Array, Nexus Type (MUTA-NT) A facility which relies on the natural instability around Site 87 to allow interdimensional travel and exploration.
• HALO Stations and Combat Zeppelins See The Only Way to Travel and Walk the Floor
• Mobile Foundation Platforms Airships mentioned in SCP-2254
• Magnetic Recovery Ships Spacecraft equipped with magnetic field generators for object capture, seen in SCP-2226.
• Xyank-Scranton causality disruptors Terraforming devices used by the Foundation in SCP-2237.

Failures?

• The stasis device in SCP-2409
• Probably a ton of the SCPs under the Foundation-made tag

I'll probably think of more later.

Edit: From the Lucky Dinosaur there's Extratemporal Site 000, which is arguably the Foundation's greatest technological achievement, and the Solid Archive.

I've written Minkowski Spacetime Monitors in SCP-2821, SCP-2919, and SCP-3417. These machines watch for any bends in the fabric of spacetime via a combination of anomalous devices and miniaturized mechanisms similar to those used by LIGO, which let the Foundation detect weird physics shenanigans like the spontaneous formation of black holes. They can't actively change spacetime but the ability to watch for anomalies like this and measure the spatiotemporal bending can be especially useful.

So I found a couple of more stuff.

Veritants: So I seen this mentioned in Dr. Magnus's author page as "class-B veritant". Based on the context, I assume it is to verify things someone says. Likely similar to amnestics.
Lang-Scranton Stabilizer (LSS): An experimental device that was being made by the late Dr. Robert Scranton with his wife, Anna Lang, before his demise. Judging from the name, it too is intended to stabilize reality like an SRA.
