Even though Smapti beat me to this idea, I shall not give up. Lord Blackwood shall return in…
Lord Blackwood and the Flame Pits of the Orient!
Featuring Lord Blackwood's arch-nemesis…
Lord William Barnaby Smithington III!
Stay tuned as soon as I clear out my backlog!
I know its weird to ask this 10 years later, but do you still have a draft of this story?
As soon as I read the word "Sasquatch," I was pretty sure SCP-1000 was involved. I was pleasantly surprised.
im pleasantly surprised, i was afraid this was going to be a "Don't be afraid of the dark" crossover, since thats the only lord blackwood i know, this is much better.
So that's why the name sounded familiar… still, I wouldn't complain if were a crossover.
Haha, crazy coincidence- my SCP-1646 was probably active near Mount Rainier in 1857- it was being studied by the Foundation as early as 1863.
EDIT: I do like this tale, certainly. You work fast.

Heading for Tahoma from the village of Seattle, and they went by way of the Nisqually River? His guide was taking him by quite a circuitous route; I suppose that meant the Sasquatch presence was either on the south side of the mountain, or in fact just east of the peak, somewhere around the root of the Nisqually or Cowlitz glacier…
(Sorry, I'm a local, and can't help but wonder why they took him this way. At first I thought they might be headed for Mt. St. Helens, but then it would have made more sense to start from the fort at Olympia.)
…sure, let's go with that.
I'm a local myself, and I don't have a specific place in mind for where exactly the "savages" or the Sasquatch were located. This tale was sort of inspired by my driving to Seattle and back from Olympia today, and I chose the Nisqually because I cross over it as part of my daily commute.
I think someone should draw a lineage from King Alaric the Fifth to the current King Eugenio the Second. It'd be about 6-10 different foxes as Lords and Kings.
Foxes usually don't live longer than 10 years at most (and many are lucky to reach 4), so I have a feeling there's been quite a few more kings than that between Alaric V and Eugenio II.
I don't have a hard backstory or anything, but I sort of imagine that in the 150 years between there was at least one civil war, three succession crises, and one period where a crow usurped the throne and the rightful prince had to win back his kingdom.
