You left out my suggestion for improvement. When the iron is finished, the top of every waffle reads:

Nyeeeah… so I was in a good mood when I read this first and the enthusiasm was contagious. This does amuse me a great deal, but it really is just another OTT item in the end. The only horror aspect of it is that it can turn part of someone's body into a waffle shape and… well… so what? How often do you stick your body parts in a waffle iron?

As much as I don't want the old cliche list to influence new pieces it's just not something to stand up for the ages.
