New SCP, done in response to Bright's Challenge #2, to pick two random items on the cliche list and combine them.
I rolled:
6. Things what make you go nuts for no apparent reason.
13: Anything what is spherical.
So this is a sphere what makes you go crazy.

I think this is pretty good considering the evil cliched, but you shouldn't redact in the containment protocols.

This is one of the few possible reasons to redact the containment protocols. Knowledge of what the containment protocols actually entail may actually spread the meme itself.

Not bad. It definitely helps that being a sphere is significant to this object, as opposed to "random effect slapped onto what is, incidentally, a sphere".

This is a sphere. But it is not just a sphere. This is the spherest of all spheres. This sphere's effect is that it is so much of a sphere that it makes people go insane due to it's spheredom. This is the absolute apex of everything what are spheres…but I love it.

I like how you take the two cliches and instead of trying to work your way around them, you just embrace them wholeheartedly, trying to rely on competent execution rather than strength of concept. A good effort. Without the challenge, I'm not sure if I'd upvote this, but with the challenge, I certainly shall.
