This is written for the Secret Santa 2017 Art Exchange, given to taylor_itkin who wanted something about scp-3864. Since he offered his own image in that article, a thought popped up: What if I make that the premises as a fanservice of sorts?
The rest is mixed in a setting where an unknown alien species looked at the works of Man (similar to how Shelley's Ozymandias did) and thinking that someone depicted in art has to be an important person.
Permission to be use the first image has been obtained by taylor_itkin himself, which is a self-photograph taken by himself.
Second image (URL link) originates from Wikimedia Commons user Grahampurse, and is licensed CC BY SA 4.0 (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mount_Rushmore_distant_view.jpg).
SCPs featured include:
- SCP-3864 (I've Been Framed) by taylor_itkin
- SCP-2722 (SCPS Solidarity) by Von Pincier
Frankly, the use of 2722-1 was me needing an excuse to have this unknown alien's writings appear as English somehow.
