Is it bad that I don't fully understand it, yet I still love it?
Upvoted.
When I read the title, I expected a -J. What I got was so much better. Upvoted.
Bright is always getting stuck in these situations. Brought a tear to mine eye.
Bright? Oh, no, no. Not Bright. But we'll get to him in time.
Ah, who then? This is something really special by the way.
Heh. There's one, big clue in there, I think.

What, 343 and the swarm of imitating butterflies?
No, not 343. If you read the older tales, it should be come fairly clear who he is.
It's the Drakgin, isn't it. I always figured he was the Lord of Battles. It amused me that a god of combat would have a butterfly as a totem.
Giving bearhugs to the unsuspecting since 1872.
We already did, actually. Did you forget? Unless I'm mistaken…
From The List of Wonders:
He continued walking down the aisles, past shelves, boxes, and crates. A broad-brimmed hat rested next to a silt-encrusted cup. A picture of a girl waved at him from a picture frame sitting by a ruby medallion. A stone cube twice as tall as a man, cracked in two… He hardly formed more than an impression of any of them as he was dragged past.
Isn't that our good doctor?

You'll learn more in time. We haven't gotten to how the medallion ended up on that crate.
Have you considered making a tag for all these?
I have. Consensus is to wait until there's at least one more Bellerverse tale.
Eh. Sort of? Kind of a soft limit. I used the Thaumiel tag at about that time, and the collector tales have theirs… Eh. It depends. No hard rule.

I wasn't expecting a tale when I saw the title, so I was worried someone had ambitiously created SCP-1000000. Cool concept of a future Foundation. Best line was: "Begin with how to stop it, how to keep it held. Always. What it is can wait until after."
Excellent. There's something oddly poignant here; the last line was great. I would love to see more Bellerverse.
Probably obvious, but was that meant to be "Gears" above and "Clef" below?
