Very nice, although I don't think it needs the secondary effect. +1.
Getting crappy gifts makes for a bad Christmas, but doesn't make for the worst Christmas. That requires vicious drunken brawls that end in tears, recriminations and hospital visits. Possibly a permanent trip to jail, too.

And no one ended up having to wear pink bunny pajamas, so no, not the worst Christmas.
It doesn't particularly appeal to me, but I approve in that not all SCPs -need- to be giant constructs with impressive effects and all that. The effects are rather boring and standard, but fairly well written.
My opinion is neutral, so I'll count this as a neutral vote. Well done either way.
I appreciate that the containment protocols have been updated. That kind of continuing story is what keeps this site interesting to me. And the SCP's effects are interesting as well. +1.
(account deleted)I love the primary effect, and it leaves room for lots of imagination. Don't like the first addendum at all, though… I think it takes away more than it adds. Like the second one, though… could be a little less wordy, but I like "update" style addendum, if they make sense.
Eh, this feels like there's a reference I'm missing here. Why decay presents? Why Christmas trees? I dunno… it's not interesting to me as it stands.

Well, if the trigger mechanism of the BB gun malfunctioned, then it could shatter, sending small shrapnel backwards to strike the shooter in the eye. So yes, someone could shoot their eye out. :-P

First addendum could be taken out, adding a secondary effect as an afterthought just makes this kind of confusing.
I really liked the idea of someone hanging this from their Christmas tree and it turning all the holiday visitors into malnourished, abused, old people.
