The dickfeathers were funny at first, but in an actual article they just seem unnecessary.
They are pretty silly, I wasn't too sure about keeping or removing them, but they're gone now.
I love owls. Also, this is very imaginative and rather well written. Upvoted.
Can't say I'm too fond of this, but hypothetically speaking, what would be the cause of death here? Lungs collapse? Brain hitting the ground? Spinal column going to shit for lack of support?
Brain hitting the ground would probably be the big one, followed by inability to inflate the lungs. If both of those things were compensated for, the victim would still probably die of shock and internal bleeding. Were all that somehow avoided, however, their ultimate cause of death would be anemia, because they have no bone marrow with which to produce new blood cells.
