Fucking fantastic. This is an exemplary article. Well done.
The article's well-written. The concept is pretty good. I like the characterization of the bound entity, especiallyits anger and profanity.
Curiously, though, the bit that earned my instant upvote was that footnote. Sweet jesus, the Foundation are cold-blooded bastards — and yes, they have to be, but still.
I'm a little confused there as well. Maybe a few months later he'll die of a rare African parasite or something.
It said that everyone else at the Site died except for him, and I don't think that three batshit crazy people could wipe out an entire base filled with people that have guns. I think the implication was that everyone but him went crazy.
Wonderful read. One little possible nitpick, if that's ok. I'm not sure what type of doctor Morrison is supposed to be, but a medical doctor would know that you can't swallow your tongue. You can choke on it if it swells, but the way it is attached to the posterior jaw/anterior pharynx makes it impossible to swallow. Again, a small nitpick-feel free to ignore me.
Upvoted.
I chalk that up to "using the vernacular." It's the same way an IT tech will tell you to click the browser, not "activate the program's alias": yes there's technical/accurate terms, but sometimes you need to put it in a way that the folks around understand.
Studying this kind of thing, I doubt it's an M.D.
I love everything. The concept, the images (Especially how it goes from the tamer first image to the JEEBUSWTFery of the second statue's face), and the execution.
Very well done. I especially like the uncertainty in the last sentence of the second interview.
