So this thing has been running around in my head the past several weeks. Yes, it's probably going to be too long, it's probably too powerful, and the tone isn't quite right. But I'd like to see if you guys think I can mold this into an acceptable SCP.

Under your post, to the right, there is an "Options" link. When you click it, there will be an "Edit" option. I suggest you use it to remove your draft before mods do it. Drafts are not allowed on the site or in the forums. There is a sandbox for them. Copy it there, and put a link to your sandbox instead of the draft in your post.

I don't think this will work out. It is too long-winded and runs the risk that the reader will stop caring. Parts of the basic concept might be ok, but there are lots of things that either bother or bore me. I also just don't understand huge chunks of it. You need to nuke a person who sees it every 13 days? It seems you could just put it in a box and fill the box with molten lead and forget about it. It feels like you are trying to combine 14 SCPs into one item.
Some things I both like and dislike at the same time- i.e. If you see the table but don't eat from it you explode. Mostly dislike.
Don't be discouraged, keep trying.

Maybe this is just my sick sense of humor talking, but the idea of a screaming midget suddenly bursting out of a painting and exploding is just inexplicably funny to me…

It's funny to me too, I love exploding midgets.

Sorry for not clarifying. You only explode if you eat from the table.

In all actuality, this idea is too far past the "idea" stage and too far before the "finished" stage to have posted, making it look extremely messy; many things still have to be clarified. Nonetheless, it will remain long-winded. Regardless of its viability as an SCP, I have to finish this thing in its entirety before I can do something else. Maybe I got too close to a compulsion SCP or something.

Anyway, I'll finish it up in the Sandbox, show people, most likely discard it, and move on. Smiley face.
