Sorry for the 'necropost,' but I wanted to ask: Is this is still an on-going series? Also, I want to add that this tale benefits from its contrast in tone from SCP-2278, and the vivid imagery in the second half (the section starting with "Louise de Chavialle…").
However, the first three paragraphs seem like the introduction to a much longer tale with a branching story-arc; I think this would benefit from further development, or at least a introductory sentence/paragraph to create more cohesion between them and the the Louise de Chavialle/Department of Ethnography section. Without enough story built to bring the agents into de Chavialle's world, the first three paragraphs seem like fragmentary remnants of a different article left in this one.
In conclusion, it's a no-vote on this one from me, though I enjoyed SCP-2278, gave a +1 on that
