+ Some Background

This is set during the Mekhanite/Sarkicites war, and is snake man is supposed to be 鱼凫/Yufu from About the Serpent. The automantons are the prototypes of those he built for Shi Huang Ti. His father is very loosely based on Cancong/蚕丛, mythical King of Shu famous for rasing silkworms and having weird crab-like eyes. In the story he kind of wanted to revive the golry of Xia/tried to find a way to reach back into Taisui and repair the seal (as mentioned in SCP-2847's recovered data tab). But that backfired as he tried to tap into Yaldabaoth's power, and became a mindless monster which is a cross between a snake and a slikworm.

Similar in style to some of the stuff that's come before, I enjoyed getting more of the historical aspects play out in story form and the dark, gloomy atmosphere. +1
