So this is a nuclear family from the 1950s stuck in a 4s time loop. The difference is that anything that enters a certain distance of the time loop becomes part of the loop and can extend the distance of loop. Any advice or criticisms would be appreciated, this is my first scp.
Great job man. Enigmatic and brief. Feel free to add done addendum a as you think of them, like if Mr. Thompson had a background in physics.
Downvote , as I think we have a much better time loop - one of my favourites,SCP-176
Downvoted for the precise same reason. Why is this even euclid/keter?
It's Euclid because the time loop traps everyone who enters the area inside the loop, and expands with additional 'victims', whcih makes it dangerous because in the case of someone becoming trapped the whole containment procedure could potentially fail in short order and expose a lot of people.
I made some changes, pretty big ones glaring me in the face. Got swept up in trying to write american english, god knows why. Hopefully with these changes it a bit more of a better read, though i feel there are still something i could tweak.
I found it entertaining. You have a number of missed articles. Look through and find cases where you can add an "a" or "an" before nouns.

I'm not too big on this. Not really sure why the family is even involved. They seem to just be random victims of the SCP.
Thanks for the votes :D
Yeah the family are a bit of a by product but as i developed the idea, more and more backstory kinda came to me, they were a good physically way of descripting the effect, in my mind at least. plus i think writing out more information on them could be interesting to read and write.
any more comments would be appreciated.
also i know there are similarities to 176, but i feel it differs in the fact this is essentially an infectious time loop. you interract with it and you become part of it, which i feel is worthy enough to warrant it as a seperate scp concept…
i would remove the reference to "nuclear" within the article itself….that particular gag is better if it's implied, realized by the reader rather than fed to them directly(plus i dont see how it would be scientifically relevant anyway).
i think it would be worth mentioning any and all people who are trapped in the time loop besides the family. if there are none, then why is it mentioned?
i like this a lot. i dont mind having more than one time loop of sorts.
Agreed.
I'd have something like "The family seems to follow the stereotypical dynamic consisting of the mother, father, and their two children, an older brother and younger sister." I do like the gag, though.
