Thanks to Salman Corbette for letting me use the Little Misters.
Ahaha, this is brilliant Flibble. Good work. Easily upvoted.
What's great is the fridge horror lurking in this article.
That being: What was the Marshall, Carter, and Dark customer *using* him for?
A person that can be any variable age, even if only for a short period of time…
Roughly half the things I've seen MC&D get into seem to be a case of the classical Cabinet of Curiosities. Yeah, a good portion do have a good (or, at least, interesting) effect, but there's plenty of them which basically let the owner go "Hey, check out this strange thing, of which only one exists in the entire known universe!"
Then the Foundation comes along, grabs it, and throws it in a locked box in a warehouse buried half a mile underground.
Well done. I like the Wondertainment/MC&D interaction; it seems logical enough.
Short and sweet. +1

Upvoted. Shiver.
I feel like more could be done with this. Does 1007 have a continuous memory, or is each cycle a different personality and set of memories? Can you turn the key the other way and make him age faster? If you make him age that way right before he dies, can you age him past 75, or would you just kill him several seconds faster? Could you make him decay faster using the key after he's died?
There's probably even more that hasn't occurred to me.
