The log has some potential, it does manage to feel a little sinister, but it is ultimately quite aimless. We've already been shown the soul being put into the body and having some complications twice so far, so the third time feels especially unneeded. The idea of the nightmarish mix of anomalies being part of the issue makes a lot of sense, but I also feel like it makes Crow's concern feel much less justified, how did he not test this with telekill before if this concern is so obvious?
In short: Some potential, too aimless.
