Fun fact: That pic you see here is one I took earlier today when I found this really old packet of bug repellent my grandfather has been holding onto for god knows how long. So I made an SCP from it.

EDIT: The instructions for use are taken word for word from the back of the packet, with the exception of the caution against application to eyes and face (That's in the CAUTION section)

I don't like it. This one feels entirely too random, like you just wanted it to do bad stuff and slapped in the first things you could think of without considering a connection.

An SCP that punishes you for not following its instructions? I meh'd. Reminds me too much of the candy bowl that cuts your hands off if you take too many candies.

It doesn't punish you. It's warning you against using it in a way that could damage you.

The distinction is not really clear from the article. It sounds more like a curse than a warning to me because all the anomalous behaviour is connected with not using it as directed; if you do use it properly it behaves like normal insect repellent. It's like getting a medicine that says on the label, "Use only as directed. O BTW the side effects from misuse are a supernatural curse". It just doesn't work for me.

SCP-969's packaging claims that approximately 19% of SCP-969 is composed of an unknown isomer labelled ████.

From Wikipedia:

In chemistry, isomers … are compounds with the same molecular formula but different structural formulas.

So you can't say something is simply "made of isomers", it has to be isomers of something. I think the label from the photo must mean that 1% of the repellent is isomers of the main active ingredient.

Also, shouldn't the SCP do something if you use it in a manner against federal regulations for insect repellents? Like cause you to be arrested and convicted of a crime?

I was iffy until the last addendum. I like it when SCPs or SCP producers get vindictive towards the Foundation. Upvote from that alone.
