I like this for the same reason I liked the Letter Recovered from the Mariana Trench; your mind has to fill in however many horrific details it takes to get from here to there. Upvote.
How the play-dough soldiers actually succeeded, is something totally awesome that should be left to the imagination.

I was thinking about that one, too, but I was under the impression that the Foundation actually has some idea of what's in 699, even if it is incredibly vague.
You're probably right, though, given the 'alternate future' document found with it.
