This is the discussion related to the wiki page SCP-896.
It was fine until I saw the warrior D-Class. Somehow, it seems out of place and I think the article would do better without it. Still, the general idea isn't that interesting. Neutral vote for now.
Edit: the "banned for hacking" part was amusing though.
Can't help feeling that it's a SCP of the "too useful" variety. There'd be no downside in using this for increasing the abilities of the Foundation's agents, for example.
Besides, there's no real hook here; nothing particularly scary, weird or interesting, and the addendums feel a lot like padding. Also, the idea of the Foundation not only sparing a D-class that was contaminated by an SCP, but actually letting him near other SCP objects, even ones classified as Safe (a label that, contrary to popular belief, doesn't indicate that the object isn't dangerous), is ludicrous to say the least.
The tone is decent, though.

I personally don't find this creepy or interesting. It reads more to me like a premise for a summer comedy movie.
I feel like this might be better as a -J.
To be honest, I agree. I really felt pumped starting this one, but by the proofing stage it didn't like so much. And reading it again makes me downright bored. Should probably have let this one die on the table.
Oh well. Unless someone has an amazing idea to save it, it'll be deleted in a few days.
I actually loved this SCP. Probably one of my favourites. I really don't consider it "too useful", considering how it killed someone just by them playing it.
I really loved the parts about how the D-Class would be affected by their stats and work as a group to cover their weaknesses. Overall, a very well done SCP.
I don't hate it. You did put a lot of thought into this, but it feels like you have to go through too much to get too little in return. There's no real twist, apart from the Cleric becoming cooperative due to increased wisdom, which is actually my least favorite part of the entire piece because it labels the Foundation's activities as "wise" rather than ambiguous. Bard's charisma feels like a cop out because he has a magical smile instead of being better at understanding and manipulating people.
A better twist would have been the super intelligent warlock using his new stats to screw everyone else and escape not by getting out of the Foundation but tricking everyone into believing that he is actually one of the head researchers who was working within the game and falsifying necessary records to support that.
I think doesn't necessarily mean that the Foundation is inherently "wise" in all it does, or even in most of what it does, just that Cleric ended up agreeing with it in the end. Someone with a different background or different moral convictions might have come to the opposite conclusion, that what the Foundation is doing is wrong, and that the end does not justify the means. It's also not made clear precisely how much he was actually told; he can only make his judgement based on what he knows, and the Foundation is very good at convincing themselves that they're in the right.

I agree with Sorts about the Bard, but I actually rather liked this. Suffers from Wall of Text, though. You might consider moving the tests to a separate page, but… Eh. Not nearly as terrible as a lot of stuff I've read lately. Upvoted.

I … tentatively like this, but not enough to upvote it. There's a whole lot of fluff you could cut, because we don't get much out of it. And a lot of the logic is shaky. And… I just dunno about the rest of it. Hm.
I was particulalarily amused by the Foundation's decision to suspend Cleric's termination (as well as the banned for hacking comment). Upvoted.
