There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
I really should have done more to this (Hippo pointed out a number of problems and flaws with it which I should have addressed more closely), but at a certain point you just get burnt out on a skip and need to post. I ended up feeling no desire to do any more to this. I imagine this won't do amazingly, but I'll at least see if there are people who enjoy it.
Anyway; many thanks to all those who looked over this (I've lost my notes on who exactly that was, so my apologies :p.).The picture is in the public domain, and can be found here.
Oh, and anyone who's thinking of downvoting on principle because of my shameless abuse of Scranton Reality stuff/the ridiculous physics, there's a very specific reason for such lunacy, so read to the end. It's not just laziness.
This skip also contains references to 2669 and 2747. If the authors of either of these pieces would like me to remove the references, I will happily do so.
Oh, and all credit to NineVolt to finding the picture.
You can find more of my stuff here.
