This is gold. A hundred thousand times better than I could have done.
This isn't the most original idea ever, but I found the execution charming, particularly the clown's reaction in the last two episodes to the broadcasts being intercepted (and I upvoted based on that).
How is anyone watching this, though? Do the anomalous effects extend to recordings? Or are we using D-Class nine-year-olds? >_>
(Also, it's a bit odd that we are able to detect these broadcasts yet the article doesn't say how, not even a reference to "Procedure Blah", making the containment procedures as listed somewhat useless.)
I meant to imply that they were using children to view the program, then negating long term effects with the Class A amnesiac. I added a procedure blah as well.
Ahh, missed that. I think that a note re: "Subjects must be under the age of ten" should be added to the containment procedures, along with the mention of the Procedure Blah - they are integral parts of the containment procedures, after all, and should be there rather than in the description. (Not that it's a problem to have them in the description as well, assuming it isn't excessively redundant.)
A few missed capatalizations of "american / American", and I kinda would prefer if you were clear in article with how the researcher views the broadcast (Perhaps if the hypnosis only happens during the title sequence?) but I like this.
I liked this a lot until I got to the very last log entry. While I do like the idea that the SCP object somehow knows it is being contained, I do not like how it magically has intimate knowledge of the facility and Foundation policies, as this adds a level of omnipotence that ruins the sneaky stalker clown teaching children terrible things tone.
Also, "embarrassing secrets about researchers"? Really?
That is stupid.
I actually like that the clown is stupidly petty.
Yeah, I didn't mind that last part so much, I thought it was interesting. More I think about this one the more I like it, actually, just trying to imagine that picture involved in the activities described. Ugh.
Petty clowns are cute. upvote based on, that, alone
Living the dream, or dreaming the life?
Yeah, having a hard time picturing that colorful clown showing kids anything violent or hateful. :I
The problem is not the pettiness, it's the omniscience.
That would be omniscience, not omnipotence, Yoric.
Maybe instead of telling about the secrets of the researchers, it goes into detail on the best ways to kill each of the researchers responsible for it. For example, Dr. Wharrgarbl keeps his house keys under a removable piece of concrete on his driveway, whereas Agent Fgsfds often leaves an open bottle of water on her desk, making her susceptible to poisoning. That sort of thing. To me, it would be really creepy if I saw this freaky-ass demon from hell who will eat me clown yelling at me and detailing how best to kill me.

How about its suggestions for staging containment breaches… are all either crap, or blatantly obvious. It doesn't know how to breach our containments.
And the Embarrassing Secrets are stuff like "DOCTOR WHARRGARBL PICKS HIS NOSE!" and "PROFESSOR FAKENAME MASTURBATES!"
It's doing its best, but it doesn't actually have access to our secrets.
I personally think that that would cut down on the creep a bunch if it looked like it was faltering.

I love this. Seriously freaked me out. Especially the suddenness that the violence is shown.
it doesn't fit with scp and it should be a lost episodes creepypasta then you wont get so much hate for taking up a scp for a lost episodes creepypasta
Firstly, it's safe class because it's an animated television program, not an actual serial killer, which can be easily turned off and replaced with another program. Secondly, never does it imply that Bobble is a human, as it's an animated clown, and even if it was a human, humans can be SCPs because they're just regular humans with anomalous aspects. I have no problem if you dislike something, but you should dislike it for actual reasons.
EDIT: Seeing as you edited your comment, I guess I'll edit mine as well. Again, it's fine to not like something, but it should be for actual reasons. If you think it doesn't "fit in", then that's fine. I do object that this SCP is receiving "so much hate". If anything, it's highly beloved. If you're going to state your opinion on something, please read the whole article before doing so.
Mm Mm Good
