Attack of the Giant Venomous Roaches!

I put a giant venomous roach attack in scp-259 and folks said EWWWWWW! seemed to like it. So maybe these roaches would make a good SCP on their own?

So:

1. Do you think I need more anomalous effects for them? I don't want to hear "That's not an SCP…those could really exist."

2. Is cross-linking to one of my own SCPs as an origin for them lame?

3. I need a good picture that demonstrates the size of these guys. I tried to make one, and it looks completely photoshopped:

You can see what I'm trying to do here, even though it didn't come out good. Do we have a good Photoshopper here who could actually make this look realistic? Please?

They don't like cross linking because if one of the articles goes away, they have to edit the article remove the links. While the "Backlinks" tool will tell you, most people don't bother to check before deleting an article.

True that, but people do it anyway without a problem at times, and if it's your own article, well, even Bright has done that recently.

It's true that it will probably annoy some people no matter what, though, and you don't want to go too crazy with it. In this situation, I'm ambivalent about it, but I wouldn't downvote based on that.

Cockroaches above a certain size can't exist. It's not physically possible due to the way their respiratory system works (some Googling should bear this out).

Lame? I don't object to it, but it depends on how you do it, and of course what everyone else thinks. ;)

Anyway, I am very much behind the idea of a cockroach SCP of any kind, if executed well.

I'd recommend against this.
