My fifth mainlist, seventh skip, tenth page.
I knew it had to be a doozy.
Thanks all who helped clean it up
I made the diagrams
The cup is CC from flickr. I'll post the exact link in a little bit.

Intriguing. Reminds me quite a bit of SCP-884. Did you take inspiration (for the narrative style, not the object) from it?
+1, solid SCP. Great work.
If I may make a suggestion!
Below is a CSS module which will turn the tabs grey, remove the spaces between them, and basically make them more "clinical looking".
Give it a try and see if it looks good. You can copy and paste everything from the [[module css]] down to the [[/module]] and paste it anywhere in the source of the page. hit save, and it'll update the page.
The final version can be viewed on this page

Mm Mm Good
I'm left feeling a tad let down. I mean, "unexpectedly ramps up in dangerousness as we test it" is kind of a well-done trope on the site at this point. If this is missing anything, it's how the various versions of the SCP document are related. I was, for instance, busily trying to memorize D-Class numbers in the anticipation they would turn up again when the shit hit the fan, but that never happened. I'm not sure what exactly goes on to provide the improved understand of the object as time progresses.
Beyond that, the "everything is a dream" finale was… I mean, it's okay. This is a good visualization of that idea. Maybe it's just that the idea itself isn't terribly fresh. Someone else can probably give you better feedback. :/
Minor notes: "drive" is not the right word for a boat. Shortly after that in the same log is "a vast expanses". Also, "thaumatergic".
Thanks for the feedback! I fixed the spelling/grammar stuff.
tbh I don't know how I would adjust the revision format. They relate to each each other because they show how many times the Foundation used the object, how they get closer and closer to the truth yet make things astronomically worse beforehand.
I could maybe work in some class-d subplot
Also there is no confirmation that this reality is a dream. We wouldn't know.

Personally I'd counter that with a bit of wisdom from a certain productivity killing website (that, for the sake of everyone's ability to get stuff done, I won't link): tropes are tools. And there's a reason that particular tool is well used here. I mean realistically there SHOULD be dozens or hundreds of skips that "ramp up in dangerousness" as the Foundation learns more about them.
I know this is probably going to be called a dumb reason to not vote but it's something I can't get over.
If I need to input Level 5 Clearance to read this stuff, I'm on the O5 Council. (That or someone they gave special dispensation to.)
So why am I redacting it from myself?
Wait… Is that what the "Leave 4 to us" thing meant? The O5s have somehow been compromised by the Insurgency already?
'Cause that would be really, really bad. And would explain it enough to upvote.
The O5 have been compromised. That is the basis of the Chaos Insurgency.
O5-1 betrayed the Foundation when they created the Children.
So here you have:
the implications of this are devastating.
Consider that the Chaos Insurgency could theoretically manipulate the bounds of 3545-1 instances, warping what is inside the ZK or what is not, potentially destroying anything they desire and creating a new reality in its place to escape into using 2719.
There are multiple ways these three anomalies could be used in tandem
EDIT: I had previously had a long thing about how the collapsibles + tabs weren't working for me, but they are now. Not sure what the problem was before, but it is working now.
After reading this, I wasn't much of a fan. Downvote remains.
can I get some nice "no signatures on my forum"
sigma-9 css machine broke
understandable have a nice day
It doesn't keep the collapsibles open for you…?
No-vote. It's an okay read, if a little long, and the fundamental idea is interesting.
If I understood this correctly, though, the Foundation did not begin with the assumption that SCP-3545 was in fact creating the instances of SCP-3545-1 - they assumed it was just predicting their manifestation?
That was kind of a believability breaker for me. I feel like the reader would naturally assume that SCP-3545 was the cause of the reality failures, so it's weird that the Foundation doesn't. This is because the alternate scenario, that each manifestation of SCP-3545-1 is pre-determined, and every unique individual just so happens to locate a specific instance upon drinking from the cup, is not intuitive.
Finally, the crosslinks kind of made this more convoluted than I think it needed to be. But it's otherwise decent.
take a fucking sip babes (nose starts bleeding)
1+
pastarasta1 is quick-talking and often scheming
The last bit kills it for me; that, and the idea mentioned above by SARJ, that I was mulling over since the second tab. It just doesn't come together for me.
