This is was a wonderful piece of Foundationverse worldbuilding. The interesting base idea, memorable characters, and the many references to other parts of the Foundation universe made for a great article.

At this point I actually said "Oooh…" out loud.
Hopefully they didn't traumatize/maim Zealot too badly- I like this guy's snarky biopunk heresy.

Also, speaking as an artist:

This sucks! I was making this huge project of 3D digital anart.

this is one of the most dangerous complaints on the list. I have experienced this feeling myself; "White-hot screaming fury tempering to an icy rage" comes close to describing it. I have a strict policy of making myself wait an hour or two before filing bug reports for this sort of incident, as the first draft generally requires editing.

This was great all the way through. I'm not familiar with this format of article, but holy hell is this impressive, both as a piece of storytelling in itself and as a huge expansion of the foundation universe.

This article could also be a valid part of the World/Chronicles of Darkness RPG universe quite easily, which is funny to me on its own.

Separate from my initial response, on re-read I have a question:

The initial memo with the description of the cubes is from 'Marshall, Carter and Darke, Ltd.'.

All subsequent memos are from 'Marshall, Carter and Dark, LLP'.

Intentional? Separate companies for legal reasons? Or just a bit of an earlier draft that didn't get cleaned up?

Very interesting. Definitely something that I can see MC&D doing. Also giving them AIDS was hilarious and a very unique problem I didn't see coming. (No offense to anyone that has AIDS. Contextually, it makes sense.)
