3 things:
1. This is great, the tone is very good… though some words and terminology don't quite fit the subject "daddy never showed up" is a phrase that requires a high level of English to use… but then I'm probably just conditioned to evaluate English ability and it doesn't matter :-P
2. I wish there was a link back to SCP-939 at the top of the page…
3. SCP-939 says "Personnel must be aware that SCP-939 are not sapient and are incapable of mimicking live individuals." so I guess it should be the other way around? They are sapient and they are capable of mimicking live individuals?

4. I didn't think about the fact that the offspring tearing off their skin and eating their old head were human until a few minutes after reading… maybe give more detail when you describe the birth so the fact that they are morphologically human sticks with the reader during the grittier parts of transformation.

1. Thanks. It's intended to drive home that it once was human. An incredibly sheltered little girl who can't even grasp the concept of the sky or grass, even.
2. Granted, please hold.
3. They cannot imitate the voice of an individual that still lives, is what that was intended to convey.
4. I'm not sure how. I figured the description of its upbringing, the medical logs, the initial statement they were identical to human infants would do it. I'm open to suggestions on this.

Add a note, or make an inclusion in the current note about the subject thinking its name is "Keter," that states that the subject has continued to develop along the same lines and at the same rate as a human child. In-universe it would make sense for that to be noted somewhere anyway; no Foundation employee is going to assume that something still looks and acts human just because it was born looking and acting human.

I am just terribly confused.

Maybe I am just a moron, but I thought that 939 is just like an animal, so not sapient or intelligent. But this makes it seem like it is.

A lot of things are just making my brain itch as I try to figure it out. "Old head"? What? But 939 has a head and it doesn't say they're born with two or anything. And, how long do they look human? Obviously long enough to speak English, so like 3 years (well, my 5 year old step sister is just now starting to speak English coherently)?

And I though the 939 in this log was sliced into pieces and stored in cryo, so how is it talking?

Again, maybe I am just dumb and this is too subtle for me.

The first 939 had some babies, SCP Org killed all the babies except for one, that baby was a human child, they raised the human child, the human child asked to be put in cold water after it started feeling pain, it turned into an adolescent 939, while contained it talked to itself (I guess?).

I agree that the language in this and the original article could be MUCH clearer, though in ways that are hard to describe without marking it up or changing it myself.

I don't understand the audio log in the "Reproduction of SCP-393" page. Who is its "daddy" supposed to be? Did any of that stuff that it talks about actually happen, or is it just supposed to be some kind of hallucination?

I'm not sure I really understand Audio Log 939. If it's sliced up in cryo how is it talking? Is this beforehand and it's talking to someone? Is it talking to itself? I'm left confused in a bad way after reading this.

The one talking in cryo was the one they raised to maturity, before the vivisection.

Correct. But, to be clear,That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons, even death may die. the monologue occurs after the vivisection. From the second paragraph of the containment procedures:

SCP-939-101 is dismembered and stored in Cryogenic Preservation Tanks 939-101A to 939-101M within Bio-Research Area-12. (…) The contents of only one (1) 939-101 tank may be accessed at any given time. Core temperature of SCP-939-101 tissues must be monitored while removed from cryogenic preservation (…) Barring core temperature exceeding 10° C, research of SCP-939-101 tissues may continue as long as its ramblings and pleas for release may be tolerated.

This may at first seem confusing, but there is no mistake. That's more or less the mantra for most of what I've written here.
