3 things:
1. This is great, the tone is very good… though some words and terminology don't quite fit the subject "daddy never showed up" is a phrase that requires a high level of English to use… but then I'm probably just conditioned to evaluate English ability and it doesn't matter :-P
2. I wish there was a link back to SCP-939 at the top of the page…
3. SCP-939 says "Personnel must be aware that SCP-939 are not sapient and are incapable of mimicking live individuals." so I guess it should be the other way around? They are sapient and they are capable of mimicking live individuals?
4. I didn't think about the fact that the offspring tearing off their skin and eating their old head were human until a few minutes after reading… maybe give more detail when you describe the birth so the fact that they are morphologically human sticks with the reader during the grittier parts of transformation.
