So.
First off, let me say I really, really, really like the concept of a ghost disease. As far as I know that's never been done before, so good work. I was ready to upvote this, until I came to this section right here:
A final notation about possible human death as the result of SCP-793's actions - the "reversal effects" do reverse victim death, in totality. Once a dead victim is rescued from the maximum reproductive zone, somatic cells appear immediatly and remaining parisites are removed from existence. Upon so-called "undeath", individuals recall extreme pain in their bodily reconstruction (mostly regarded as something along the lines "thousands of knives peircing his/her body") and no recollection of ever entering the zone of denial or any knowledge of SCP-793.
That ruined it. By removing the risk of real death, to me you remove the horror from the concept. I realize that may be an individual opinion, but I do ask that you consider revising or simply expunging that section. While the idea of a hospital surrounded by corpses up to a certain point does have a certain macabre charm, I just… enh. Sleeping sickness' victims are usually ambulatory for at least enough time to get out of the ZoD.
Secondly, the name "zone of denial". It's possible I missed something important, but why is it called that?
