I quite enjoyed this. A slightly different perspective on GOC, with some depth and complexity. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail; when the problem IS a nail, a hammer is a useful tool.

The avian imagery and theme worked for me. Good use of multiple mythologies.

This is significantly improved from the draft I saw. I have a personal pet peeve about proliferation of SRAs, though. I will need to think about this.

To me it's justified, seeing as this is a really expensive high-tech weapon, not a bunch of random soldiers carrying mini-SRAs or something.

I mentioned the same thing regarding the SRAs, not just because it's a one-size-fits-all for 'reality-fixin' and is used all over the damn place, but also because it doesn't make sense (to me) for the GOC to use Foundation-engineered tech/nomenclature.

It's really all in the name though, I'd have much preferred something which is obviously the same thing, but with a designation that gives it more of an offensive feel. such as in the recent 1730 logs, where the MTF uses SRA grenades, which was the most badass thing ever.

This explores the relationship between AR and the GOC which has largely been unexplored up this point, and does a solid job at it.

Thought this was great. I'm a sucker for GOC para/militech and this is an excellent, narrative-driven example of the trope done well. The best part of this, imo, was the meat - the engagements are nice and removed but go into gory detail about the thing's achievements. It's written pretty well and it's got a lot of nice imagery - very little for me to dislike, here. Gladly upboated.

Quick update: changed the name of the Egyptian member org to "Pr-Ankh-n-Djehuti (The Library of Djehuti)" to be more accurate (Ab wasn't the correct word). Might change in the name later on to something more accurate, if and when I learn more about Egyptian grammar.
