Way too over the top. Making the effect immunological, but able to resist memetics, makes no in-universe sense. Making it spread magically by proximity means there is no way it would be confined to Norway after almost a year (people from Norway do travel). I also fail to believe that the Foundation has the power to institute martial law worldwide (or do half the other things the containment procedures suggest), nor that this would be a logical approach in context. At some point the veil is blown, and executions (or shutting off global communications!) just makes things less secret, not more.
(account deleted)I think this is an example of frantic attempts at containment. Like psul said above me, the cont-proc begins to go over the top to the point of illogic, but I see that as a bonus. The Foundation is backed into a corner, of course it's going to go crazy and do stupid stuff that can be counter productive.

It seems to me like the Foundation is thinking zebras instead of horses when they hear hoofbeats. I can think of a few mundane theories as to how it happened, and they all suggest it's their own fault.
It's spooky magic, completely uncontainable, and effortlessly (for it's not even aware) wins at everything. Then somehow information becomes semi-publicly available for reasons and the Foundation can't do anything. Following that, the Foundation turns stupid and decides to start executing its own members because reasons.
I dislike over the top stuff. -1.
This SCP just felt ridiculous, and as others have said, way over the top. In this SCP:
- The Foundation loses it secrecy from the world
- The Foundation's entire O5 Council is killed
- International Email, calling, texting, and all social media sites are somehow eliminated
- Every single country is quarantined.
- Society itself more or less falls apart and all countries are governed by Martial Law set by The Foundation's shadow governments
- The Foundation leads a genocide against the Ethics Committee for some reason?
In my opinion, that's just too much. A simple allergy caused the end of the worldas we know it? I can't buy it. Downvoted.
Edit: I'd also like to mention that I feel like it seems unfinished as well. You're basically leaving the world in a state of disrepair with no resolution in sight.
