Well, I have a creepy, a myth, a CotBG and a rewritten location. Now to try something just wtf and squick. Also thanks to Flames for that one reference.
Overall I like it. A few nitpicks:
I agree with minmin that you need to distribute the "unknowns" better if it is truly random, instead of having almost all of them clustered at the end.
You may want to add something about having observed the child for x months or years before letting someone adopt her.
I feel like the Foundation is more likely to just put down regular animals that come out of it than go to the trouble of finding them homes.
Please, find a picture. Any picture. I don't care if it's a picture of a rock, or a squirrel, or a diagram of water molecule. Pictures are pretty. Pictures make SCPs pretty. I like pretty things.
Edited.
"Mucous" is an adjective. The noun is "mucus".
Hey, would the Foundation really approve of adoption of humans that were created by a SCP, even if they are (by all measurable accounts) normal? Institutionalizing for study and observation would seem more characteristic to me…
oh god
Yeah, I'm glad I didn't read this over breakfast. Nice work.
I don't think this needs a picture, the description is sufficient and anything that falls short of that abomination in my imagination would lessen the effect.
I'm not saying it has to have a picture of the creature. Just a picture of…something. Idk. I like pictures. Pictures make me feel happy inside.
I notice that all of the entries have a time. Is this just an example log from one day?
I just derped, did not notice 'sample test log' in large, friendly letters at the head of that section.
I hadn't meant to downvote this. My bad. Fixed, anyway.
